Summer Reads

At Biscuit we are all massively into reading so we thought we would share with you our fav beach reads for your Summer holidays!

Amanda

If you haven’t already Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty then you must... a hilarious book about playground antics alongside helicopter mums.. as a mother who hated pickups, this made me giggle!

Rachel

I'm about to start Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan on my holidays next week as I've heard very good things! I fly through books when I'm sunbathing so I'm also packing the two follow ups China Rich Girlfriend and Rich People Problems

I just finished The Woman I Wanted To Be by Diane Von Furstenberg and I couldn't recommend that enough, she has lived a fascinating life.

Sarah

My must read book would be Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami, written by a Japanese author and set in Tokyo it is so beautifully written.

Karen

My most recent book has been Nina X by Ewan Morrison, made up from a series of journals from oth present day and from Nina's childhood in a Maoist cult. I guess it could be a bit dark for holiday reading but it's a brilliant read!

Ailish

My favourite book at the moment is Feminists Don't Wear Pink and Other Lies By Scarlet Curtis, it's made up of a collection of essays on what feminism means to a range of writers including actresses, teen activists, comedians and so on...

 Ellen

I have currently set aside The Cows by Dawn O'Porter, a funny and powerful novel and female relationships, for my holidays after rave reviews from my family.
