“Colours are fascinating and tell so many stories – from grandiose or dramatic tales to intimate poetry. For me, colours are an inexhaustible source of inspiration; an almost raw material I love to develop further. Colours can be mixed in infinite ways, creating new shades that tell personal tales of colour, style and print. I love that.”
— Stine Goya
For Spring Summer ’18 Stine Goya are celebrating their 10th anniversary with a collection that evokes memories from the past whilst excitedly looks forward to the future. Taking the wearer on a journey through the archives of past collections to show previous elements of the brand.
This Summer’s collection builds upon the playful artistic prints & colours that the brand are renowned for by reworking their most iconic signature prints into new tailored pieces. The ‘Goya’ print is a celebration of these previous collections with a hand-painted collage of illustrations including the hot air balloon, tiger, mirrors and the moon.
The Rays Trousers, Nico Shirt & the ultra feminine Nat Kimono all feature this striking and eye-catching patterned print.
The palette of colours are celebratory with highlights of bright blue, emerald green and hot fuchsia pink adding freshness to brand’s trademark soft peaches, orchid pink and gold. For Spring the classic April and Smilla dresses have been given a fresh new look with yellow flowers and pink peaches.
A favourite at Biscuit is the Micaela embellished star print dress with sumptuous voluminous sleeves and a deep v shaped neckline. Scattered with metallic beads to reflect the night sky this galaxy inspired wrap around dress sparkles and shines in a subtle way.
