Staff Festive Picks

Biscuit's Christmas Makeover has got us feeling festive! Here are our staff's top Christmas Picks for the oncoming party season....
Amanda, Founder and Owner
"This season I’m loving anything velvet! It can take such a simple piece and turn it into an evening piece in an instant, or even for dressing up an everyday outfit for a smart-casual look. I’ll be wearing Part Two’s Newton Night Blazer for seasonal gatherings and Christmas Dinner! The deep navy hue means it’s a staple to see me through 2019!"

Rachel,  E-Commerce Manager
"I’d go for the Yaya’s jacquard trousers, as the navy and diamond print make for a pair of smart, but also comfortable trousers. For Christmas day I’d pair them with the American Vintage Svinday knit in cream for a casual and cosy look that’s still chic. They’re great items as they can be worn time and time again!"

Frankie, Store Merchandiser
"I can’t resist a party frock and Stine Goya’s Niki Midnight does just the trick. The wrap dress is a staple style for formal occasions, but the bell sleeve and cut of the dress gives a fresh take."
Fiona, Store Manager
"My Christmas Day outfit would be the Tara Jarmon leopard print skirt with the 360 Cashmere Lois Ruby V-neck. Nothing says Christmas more than red and sparkle, plus who can say no to cashmere!?"
"For New Years Eve I’d pick the Souer Chloe Jacket and the Clint Blazer in green velvet. The modern way to dress up for a big night out. Just add heels, slicked back hair, a red lip and cocktails!"

Amreen, Assistant Store Manager
"I love my Co’Couture camouflage skirt as I’ve been cosying it up with black woolly tights and doc martens to brace the Scottish winter! The midi length of it will means it’s smart enough for Christmas Dinner, and the print makes a statement but in a subtle way which is more my style. I’ll pair it with the Ichi Mafa black rollneck knit with the Louise Kragh Maze necklace for a neutral pop of shine."

Ellen, Office Assistant
"I just bought the Maison Anje Le Clair Knit, I just loved the all-over gold glitter! I will definitely be wearing it on Christmas Day for a sparkly statement. I’ll be wearing Part Two’s Ozaka Jeans as I love the cool stripe, but then for the evening I’ll be wearing Sundry’s lounge pant – post Christmas stuffing!"
"New Year’s eve I’ll wear the knit with black jeans and sock boots for a dressier occasion."

Toni, Sales Assistant
"I live in cosy jumpers during the winter  time so the Maison Anje Le Claire Gold Knit adds a lovely festive shimmer. I’d pair it with the Yaya black Flared Jeans for a smart casual and comfy Christmas Day Look."
"For New Year’s Eve I’d pick the Part Two Nascha navy dress, as a red velvet dress is the perfect outfit to ring the bells in!"

Hazel, Sales Assistant
"I love the Second Female Pukki skirt – the red, silver, glitter, pleats - stunning! I’ll wear it on Christmas day with tights and trainers. I’d wear it with the Second Female Venia Navy Turtleneck. I’d wear sock boots  with this look for Boxing Day Drinks for a smarter look. I’ll be wearing a long navy coat for New Years Eve, and the skirt will look gorgeous peeking through the coat!"

Dominique, Sales Assistant
"I would pick the American Vintage Useless Jeans with the Stine Goya Nicholas Red Knit. I’d add the Yaya Double Circle earrings for a a festive glint against the vibrant red jumper – the perfect colour combinations for Christmas!"

"The Yaya white fluffy sneakers are fab as well – an extra bit of cosiness for Christmas Day!"
