Three words that define the newest brand to Biscuit - Faune. Inspired by slow living, Faune's signature vintage pieces are designed to be worn for both night and day. From slip dresses to jacket blouses and coats, their colour palette is neutral, allowing you to mix and match with your existing pieces.
Faune - Where it all began
With a shared vision of slow fashion and the idea of creating a rolling collection of iconic keepsake pieces, Faune was founded on life-long friendship as well as a love of flea markets, vintage finds and of course, fashion!
Founded by two female friends with backgrounds in media and fashion, they were inspired back to their original passions after having children.
Born in November 2017, Faune first launched timeless children's wear created seasonally and of the highest quality. Three years after this launch, came their highly anticipated womenswear collection, continuing the delicate vintage-style that Faune is now loved for!

Designed to Last
Designed in London, each piece is inspired by vintage finds which combine light, floaty fabrics with intricate, feminine detailing. Their silhouettes are timeless and functional - perfect for everyday comfort.
Furthermore, each design is carefully created to ensure it fits with their day to night transitional ethos. The definition of slow-living!
Shunning the ever-changing trends, Faune focuses on small collections - in order to minimise waste - as well as the creation of items which will stand the test of time. Any fabric waste that is created, is then used to create their accessories range.
So which pieces are our favourites?
Coats & Jackets
A standout of the Spring/Summer collection has to be the - for want of a better word -outerwear (which is of course, designed to be worn indoors too). In neutral tones, there are several options to choose from in a variety of lengths and weights;
Carnation House Coat (on right) -
A vintage inspired house coat in a creamy white tone. Reminiscent of stylish Flee market finds, this coat is made in a cotton jacquard with an intricate pattern and delicate frill to the outer edges.
Other options are shorter and include the Colette Gilet - a beautiful textured weave gilet with hand stitched detail which looks fantastic over wide, balloon sleeve blouses, The Harlow Oyster Blouse Jacket - a lightweight piece with delicate embroidery and lace inserts, as well as the Cosmos Jacket - a chic white jacket made from textured cotton with quilting to the cuff and pocket. Complete with a belted wrap silhouette.

Dresses
A must-have in all Summer wardrobes - a trusty dress which will see you through regardless of the weather. As Brits, we are used to enduring several seasons throughout the day, but dresses remain a versatile and comfortable option come rain or shine. Her are our favourites;
Camelie Terracotta Dress (to right)) -
A warm terracotta cotton gown featuring schiffli cotton lace frill sleeves that elegantly drape like 'wings' to the back. A romantic and loose fitting dress which skims in all the right places, making it a versatile dress for both day and night.
Other options are shorter and include the Delphine Jaipur Short Dress - a luxe mosal satin gown in a decorative jaipur border print with wide, kimono style sleeves, The Faune Primrose Sandstone Dress - a glamorous nightgown style dress in warm golden tone which is evocative of the golden-era, as well as the Meadow Tuscan Peach Dress - a soft cotton dress featuring a vintage peach border print with modern neckline and delicate lace trims.
