What We are Watching - Daisy Jones & The Six

 We love to get stuck into a new series - particularly one that fuses music and fashion - so with Amazon Prime's drop of highly anticipated mini-series Daisy Jones & The Six, we are definitely feeling inspired!

Based on Taylor Jenkins-Reid’s bestselling novel of the same name, the series details the rise and fall of (fictional) rock band Daisy Jones & The Six, fronted by lead singers Daisy Jones (Riley Keough) and Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin). Set against the hypnotic backdrop of 1970s California, think Fleetwood Mac meets Almost Famous, with plenty of music and drama.

If the fantastic soundtrack doesn't do it for you, the fashion definitely will - bohemian dresses, vibrant prints and denim aplenty. It is clear costume designer Denise Wingate spent a lot of time researching the period to produce authentic looks for the cast.

Influenced by some of the seventies biggest style icons, we can definitely identify Stevie Nicks, Patti Smith, Joni Mitchell and Marc Bolan in the wardrobe of the cast! What more could you want?!
